Video Camp Goethe Institut

Film-making may sounds ordinary for most of people, but what about the film-making which takes a story baseline about our own country to be presented in front of foreign comers?
Like what is being done by the video camp team-Goethe institute from all over Indonesia. They are working together to make two movies about Indonesia, which are made alongside with the prepared theme: unity in diversity and local culture.

 

Before the film-making which are going to be presented in front of Team Uganda & Australia, team Indonesia already held workshop to increase the understanding of every team member which are related to the film making. And SMAN 4 Denpasar is very proud to be the host of the film making workshop. After the workshop itself, all participants directly made short videos with the duration of 1-2 minutes. The location of the short videos making itself are varied on places of interest around Bali.

 

 

The video camp which has a native informant from Germany, Kerstin Rickermann and Silke is attended by 20 high school students all over Indonesia whose school is the partner of Goethe Institute, such as schools in Bandung, Tasikmalaya, even North Sumatera. SMAN 4 Denpasar is also one of the partner of Goethe Institute.

 

As the host of this workshop, SMAN 4 Denpasar is very enthusiastic and supportive towards the program. A rousing opening ceremony was held on March 4, 2012 in Aula Atas SMAN 4 Denpasar. Drs. I Wayan Rika, SPd, the principle of SMAN 4 Denpasar delivered greetings and welcome speech, there were also dances performed by the representative of Foursma Deutsch Club. The program which ends on 11th March 2012 made all participants, informants and the team from Goethe Institut very pleased because SMAN 4 Denpasar succeeded on giving warm impression and a successful program.
